Description

This module introduces the student to a variety of key theories, methods and concepts in the study of English Language and Literature. It develops a range of critical and analytical skills through the study of different forms of text including poetry, prose fiction and drama. It introduces students to the fundamentals of linguistic and literary analysis and to the study of how language use changes through time, space and according to social context.
